Crescent Ski Council
The Winston-Salem Ski & Outing Club is one of twenty Authorized Clubs of the
Crescent Ski Council. Members of WSSOC are members of Crescent. Other Authorized Clubs are from North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama,
Georgia, Tennessee and West Virginia. Crescent provides guidance and organizes events and outings for the benefit of its members.
Principal activities include the Crescent Ski Racing Series, the annual Steamboat Race & Ski Camp (now in its 28th year!),
one or two ski vacations per season, the annual Spring Convention at Myrtle Beach, SC and the annual Fall Conference, currently

National Ski Council Federation
The Crescent Ski Council is a charter member of the National Ski Council Federation. Members of WSSOC, by virtue of membership in Crescent, are members of NSCF. Member councils of NSCF include over one
third of a million skiers and snowboarders from all regions of the country.
